He married MARIA AINSWORTH on the 2nd November, 1695 in St. Andrew Parish Church, Bebington. They settled in Storeton, where they raised their family.

Thomas died in Storeton and was buried on the 15th November, 1711 in St. Andrew Parish Church, Bebington.

On the 23rd December 23, 1725 he married ELLEN BENNETT, daughter of GEORGE BENNETT, in St. Oswald Parish Church, Bidston, Wirral. At this time, Ellen was the widow of Mr. GODINE living in Saughall Massie. John was a yeoman and husbandman and they resided in Liscard, Wirral. Later, they moved to Landican, Wirral.

He married ELEANOR, who died soon after their son, Thomas, was born. Eleanor was buried in St. Andrew Parish Church, Bebington on the 21 st March, 1743. On the 22nd June 22, 1749, he married SARA SHAW in St. Andrew Parish Church, Bebington.
