Generation 1

ELIZABETH STANLEY (ROBERT7, ROBERT6, JOHN5, HENRY4, GERARD3, HENRY2, RICHARD1) was born in Wallasey and was baptised on the 1st January, 1791 at St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey.

She married STANLEY GARNER on the 15th March, 1809 at St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey. Stanley was the son of WILLIAM GARNER and JENNY DEANE. One of their witnesses was George Evans. Stanley Garner was a farmer. Elizabeth died before 1829 as Stanley was a widower, when he married ANN CROSS on the 22th July, 1829 at St. Hilary Parish Church Wallasey. Stanley's sister, Ellen, and his future brother in law, William Whiting, witnessed their marriage.

Stanley was buried on the 2nd July, 1836 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey.

Jane died in Wallasey and was buried on the 4th October, 1847 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey. Samuel, who had been baptised on the 13th July 13, 1810, was buried on the 12th December, 1884 with his wife.

WILLIAM GARNER (ELIZABETH8 , ROBERT7, ROBERT6, JOHN5, HENRY4 , GERARD3HENRY2, RICHARD1) was born in Wallasey and was baptised on the 23rd March, 1818 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey. He married CATHERINE.

William was buried on the 10th September, 1882 in St. Hilary Parish Church, Wallasey and his wife, Catherine, was buried on the 18th April, 1902.
