Jane Bromley

FOR MORE INFORMATION Press highlighted name

JANE BROMLEY was born about 1804 in Ince, Cheshire. She married RICHARD HELSBY on the 11th July, 1825 in St Michael Church, Chester, Cheshire. They lived in Helsby, Cheshire until about 1842, when Richard and Jane moved to Woodhouses, Frodsham, Cheshire.

I suspect Jane had a brother George, as a GEORGE BROMLEY lived in Elton in 1841 and Jane, Richard and Jane's daughter, was born in Elton. Maybe Jane went home to Mum for the birth of her daughter. George Bromley's family can be seen below.

After Richard had died in 1854, Jane returned to Ince, where she lived in "The Cottage". When Jane died she was taken to St. Lawrence Parish Church, Frodsham to be buried with her husband.
